Training and nutrition advice
There's some crazy shit out there in the fitness world. I've seen videos of people doing overhead squats while standing on a physioball. And, squatting while standing on not just one set of dumbbells, but two and THREE dumbbells stacked on top of each other. VERY DANGEROUS!!!
Even if having the balance is to pull off things like that can be deemed impressive, it's just not safe. One tiny slip up could result in serious injury. The risk of injury is FAR greater when you start doing silly shit like squatting heavy weights on unstable surfaces. That's why we squat on the most stable surface possible. Not only for maximum weight loads, but so we don't hurt ourselves in the process.
I've recently watched a video from Every Damn Day Fitness roasting Naudi Aguilar who promotes and teaches "functional patterns". One dangerous stunt shown in the video is Naudi standing on a physioball while throwing/bouncing a medicine ball off an adjacent wall.
Remember, just because you CAN do something does NOT mean you SHOULD!
This video is not only informative of what to avoid, but it's pretty damn hilarious. Check it out!
